Malik has some updates on the possible Wings - Rangers outdoor game. Looks like Detroit would be the backup opponent should the Bruins decide they don't want to do it.

Ken Holland says he's heard nothing about it and Chelios says all he's heard is rumors but that he believes them.

I still think the Wings will do the Ford Field game next year, which virtually eliminates them from playing in another "event" game next season.
